Jon Ford  Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Director of the STOPS Back Pain research team.

In the early 90s while lecturing at The University of Melbourne, Jon established Spinal Management Clinics (part of the LifeCare group), which became one of the leading providers of physiotherapy and multi-disciplinary pain management programs in Australia. To enable a greater focus on improving clinical quality and research, Jon purchased and rebranded the clinics as Advance Healthcare in 2014.    Through clinical trials at La Trobe University, Jon established the most effective evidence-based, individualised treatments for people with back pain. He teaches these methods to practitioners internationally.
